3. Personnel. Goals need to be something you want to achieve, based on their own passion and vision. If a goal is something that you or someone you think "should" do, is not your goal.
4. Concrete. You must be specific and defined goal. "I'm going to spend more time with my children" is an admirable thought. "I'm going to spend 30 minutes reading a bedtime story to my children every night," is a goal.
5. Reverend. Achieving the goal is cause for celebration. Too often people of swing berating themselves for not working hard enough or let themselves off the hook, shrugging off their achievements because they are too busy chasing the next goal.
6. Extraordinary. Eleanor Roosevelt implored, "Do one thing every day that scares you." Your goal should be outside of your comfort zone, outside your job description, outside of their daily routines and rituals that you do vai anyway. We set a goal when we want to do more and do better.
