In our last session examination year-end, we traced its past into a customer projects revenue versus entertainment matrix. I hope you enjoyed that exercise!
Periodically, it is important to take stock of the ways in which your company has grown and developed in terms of their capabilities. It is not just the goose eggs has produced, is also looking at the larger environment or the entire farm. Although there are dozens of factors to consider in each company, here are seven key areas to be considered in this session:
1. Core competency skills; Because you have developed your career in the field?
2. Business Development; What techniques and systems you have found to work well?
3. New offerings; What products and services are offering him now that were not available a year ago?
4. New internal capacities; In what way his team has grown? What new systems are in place to make operations flow smoothly on a consistent basis?
5. The new technology; Already upgraded software systems, servers or networks? You began using new tools or access to information in new ways?
6. Community accessories; Because you have contributed to their community through sponsorship or volunteer work?7. Body of work; What articles, brochures, books, Web sites, audio programs, apprenticeship training, so you have created to educate their customers and potential customers? Continue to add to the list ways that his company has grown as a result of their decisions and actions.
Not every entrepreneur consciously put energy into each of these areas each year. And, unfortunately, that is one reason why so many start-ups fail to grow and prosper.
